Roary is the newest addition to the Bliven family. A golden retriever, Irish Setter mix – he is full of life. He enjoys hiking, rowboat adventures, and playing with his best friends, Jelly Bean and Whisper.
Golden Retrievers have always been close to Dr. Bliven’s heart, and Roary’s personality is exactly why.
Whisper is a Silken Windhound with a heart of gold. In her early days, she was a show dog and a race dog, but an injury made her career short-lived. Unable to continue in the show business – Whisper found a new home with the Blivens.
While Whisper prefers to stay indoors and lounge on the couch (or the human beds when no one is looking), her love of running has been rekindled by Roary. Whisper enjoys sprinting around the Bliven’s property and is very, very fast. She’s extraordinarily vocal and often insert herself in other people’s conversations.
Also a fairly new addition to the Bliven family, Jelly Bean is a young Ragdoll kitten. His first friend was Drax, who taught him to boldly discover the world around him.
Jelly Bean loves going for walks outside and boating vacations with the family on their little Nordic Tug.
The newest addition to the Bliven family – Jasper, was adopted from the Everett Animal Shelter this last winter.
Only a couple months when he first joined the family, he was soon welcomed in by friends Drax and Jelly Bean.
Jasper is outgoing, affectionate, and adventurous – taking notes from his mentors on good habits and bad. He enjoys walks outside and fearlessly braved the snow for the first time a couple of months ago!
Drax the Destroyer
Dr. Bliven’s youngest daughter, Kianna, adopted Drax only a few short weeks after graduating college. Drax is a siamese mix and a polydactyl (born with more toes than normal).
Drax and Kianna live in Los Angeles, CA – but visit their Washington home often. Drax might be small, but his personality is huge. He enjoys walks, car rides, and visiting with Drive-Thru employees. He has been to Nevada, Joshua Tree, NorCal, and Washington – and travels with Kianna almost everywhere. Very vocal, Drax will talk to anyone who is listening and befriends everyone he meets.
Keleah, Dr. Bliven’s second daughter, adopted Whiskey when she was just a puppy and has since gone on many adventures with her.
Whiskey is just over a year old and, to the best of our knowledge, some mix between poodle and pitbull. With a big beard and an even bigger personality, Whiskey is always ready for playtime. She especially loves chasing lasers and FaceTiming her best friend, Roary.
Keleah adopted Dinah shortly after her dog, Whiskey.
She resides with Keleah in Duvall and lives a very relaxed life. While she wasn’t the biggest fan of Whiskey at first, the two now run the house together – chasing birds and watching TV.
